Questions before you buy
Clear answers about credits, QPS, usage, and production fit.
Why do standard credits never expire?
SerpBase does not reserve a dedicated idle resource group for each customer. Standard credits run on a shared, continuously active resource pool where proxy, scheduling, and parsing capacity is used across active workloads.
We adjust upstream proxy resources based on real request volume, request frequency, and request type. High usage can trigger capacity or route changes, while low usage does not lock one account to unused dedicated infrastructure.
QPS limits help keep this shared pool stable and protect success rate for everyone. For higher-volume use cases, we can discuss a better concurrency and routing strategy.
What is the difference between limited-time and standard credits?
The $3 Starter Boost is a time-limited entry pack that expires exactly one month after purchase. Standard credit packs are permanent, stay on your account until used, and have no monthly purchase cap. Limited-time credits are used first when both balances exist.
Why is there a QPS limit?
QPS limits prevent sudden bursts from filling active routes, which helps keep latency and success rate stable. They are not meant to block legitimate growth; higher QPS can be reviewed based on actual usage.
How are credits consumed?
Most web, news, and video requests use 1 credit. Images and Maps endpoints use 2 credits. Failed dispatches and upstream timeouts are refunded automatically, and usage is visible in the dashboard logs.
Can I use SerpBase for courses, tools, or client projects?
Yes. Start with a small integration test, watch success rate and latency, then tune QPS, request patterns, and capacity with us if your traffic grows.
