Privacy Policy

Scope and roles

This policy covers the SerpBase website, accounts, dashboard, APIs, checkout integrations, and support. SerpBase determines how account, service, and operational data is handled for these activities. Payment providers independently process checkout data under their own notices.

Information we collect

• Account and contact data, credentials, preferences, verification records, and support communications.
• API and usage data, including query or feature inputs, locale, request and response status, latency, credits charged, API-key or account identifiers, IP address, device, browser, and security events.
• Order data such as package, amount, currency, tax, payment status, transaction references, and limited provider metadata; we do not store full card numbers.
• Cookie, local-storage, analytics, referral, and interaction data described in the Cookie Policy.

Sources and purposes

We receive data from you, your use of the service, payment and authentication providers, security tools, and service vendors.

• Provide accounts, API results, credits, checkout, support, and service communications.
• Authenticate users, secure systems, prevent fraud and abuse, enforce terms, and investigate incidents.
• Measure reliability, debug failures, improve features, forecast capacity, and maintain billing and transaction records.
• Comply with legal, tax, accounting, sanctions, and lawful-request obligations.

Legal bases

Where a legal basis is required, we process data to perform a contract, pursue legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, comply with legal obligations, and obtain consent where required. You may withdraw consent prospectively where processing relies on consent.

API logs and retention

API operational logs may include submitted queries and request metadata. We use them for delivery, billing, abuse prevention, reliability, debugging, and support. The product currently does not offer a customer-configurable zero-retention mode, per-request logging opt-out, or self-service query-log deletion.

We retain data only as reasonably needed for the purposes above, including account operation, security, disputes, and legal, tax, and accounting duties. Retention varies by data and system; backups and legally preserved records may remain longer.

Sharing and international processing

Providers may process data in countries other than yours. Where required, transfers use legally recognized safeguards. We do not sell personal information for money.

• Payment or merchant-of-record providers for checkout, tax, fraud screening, refunds, disputes, and settlement.
• Hosting, database, analytics, email, authentication, customer-support, and security vendors acting for us.
• Upstream search and infrastructure providers where needed to fulfill API requests.
• Authorities, advisers, or transaction counterparties when required by law or needed to protect rights, safety, service integrity, or a corporate transaction.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed for the nature of the data, including access controls and monitoring. No system is completely secure. Protect credentials and report suspected compromise promptly.

Your rights and choices

Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection, and may appeal or complain to a data-protection authority. Rights may be limited by verification, security, legal retention, and other lawful exceptions.

Send requests to support@serpbase.dev from the account email. We may request information necessary to verify identity and authority. You may manage cookies as described in the Cookie Policy and opt out of non-essential messages using provided controls.

Children and changes

SerpBase is not directed to children and is not intended for anyone who cannot lawfully agree to these terms. Do not submit children's personal data without a valid legal basis and authorization.
